The Resurrection Sanctuary choir enhances worship several times a month with traditional anthems sung in 4 part harmony. If you enjoy making a joyful noise to the Lord, come join us every Tuesday evening at 7:00 in room 105!

Mission Statement:

To serve the church by developing, coordinating and administering an effective and well-rounded music program for congregational members involved in this ministry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provides opportunities for members of the congregation to be an integral part of the worship team and .participate in singing during the worship services.

2. Works with Pastor regarding theme of each worship service, special programs, selection of hymns and choral music.

3. Learn and practice choral techniques while gaining an appreciation of sacred music.

4. Participate in selection and purchase of music, worship and music resources, services of outside instrumentalists, musical instruments and equipment.

5. Participates in organized concerts, festivals, musicals and dramas.

6. Participates in preparing appropriate music for special services.

7. Participates in establishing and maintaining a musical library.

8. Encourages teamwork, mutual support, and nurturing choir members.

9. Attends choir practice sessions.
