Our mission is to nurture and strengthen God's people so that we may share His love with our community.

Men's Group Ministry
Mission Statement: To provide the opportunity for men in the community to gather together for fellowship and service, and to share and strengthen their lives so they can be better witnesses of God’s Word.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. To conduct monthly meetings/fellowship sessions to:
    1. Foster and build fellowship relationships with men from the congregation and non-church men from our community;
    2. Help them live lives that are balanced physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally;
    3. Encourage and invite men to experience true fellowship and share their joys, failures, frustrations, and pain;
    4. Challenge men to grow and mature in Christ and become a maturing disciple of Christ.
  2. To support and participate in various work efforts sponsored by the Board of Trustees including the Lawn and Garden Ministry and numerous clean up initiatives throughout the year.
  3. To provide breakfast in conjunction with the “Greening” and “De-Greening” of the Church annual events during the pre- and post-Advent seasons.
  4. To conduct, participate, and support various fund raising events within the church and community.
  5. To facilitate building personal relationships with men and their families by sharing our lives and participating with them in a variety of initiatives through which the Gospel can be experienced.
  6. To invite and encourage the non-churched, uninterested, and uncommitted person to experience God’s Word and Love.
  7. To have a cooperative spirit with those who come from a diversity of church traditions. It is our desire to diminish the walls between races and denominations.
  8. To bring men into true fellowship with each other and be committed to extending God's hand to those in crisis through personal counseling.
  9. To facilitate development of Christian leaders in the church, home and community.
  10. To maintain the highest standards of stewardship of all resources placed in our trust.
  11. To network among men and churches in order to facilitate fellowship and spiritual growth.
  12. To help all men in our community with life's issues, whether they are men of faith or not, and to support and encourage men to be good husbands, fathers, and providers.
  13. To work with men wherever they find themselves in life (includes men of faith and men who struggle with their faith).
  14. To encourage men to join a small group ministry to help them grow spiritually.
  15. To participate in community service projects such as Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross, Salvation Army, and LINK/PORT.
