Board of Fellowship (BOF)

Mission Statement: To extend Christian fellowship and hospitality wherever needed to aid the social development, integration of newcomers and members, and continued growth of the Body of Christ.

Responsibilities:

• Take time for prayer to seek God’s leading and His plans for our ministry and service.
• Coordinates weekly Fellowship Coffees each Sunday.
• Coordinates congregational Advent and Lenten Dinners.
• Arranges special receptions when the pastors or the Church Council informs the board accordingly.
• Provides funding and publicity for the church Softball Teams.
• Oversees the Activities Calendar, providing outreach to new members, inquirers and visitors, and enabling them to easily integrate into the Resurrection community.
• Keeps the Resurrection Ministry Guide Brochures up to date and available for distribution.
• Keeps the church “kitchen closet” supplied with paper goods, utensils, etc. for church use.
• Advocates good stewardship of our resources at and around church (recycling, etc.)
• Works with the rest of the church council and ministry boards to insure that church facilities are kept “Visitor Friendly” – clean and inviting to all who come.
